KWN and Ty Dolla $ign Announced as WAV Fest 2027 Headliners

The festival will take over Cape Town on 2 January 2027 at Green Point Track before heading to SunBet Arena, Pretoria (basically Johannesburg) on 3 January 2027, giving South African R&B and hip-hop fans a major start to the new year.

KWN, known for her smooth R&B sound and breakout presence, joins Grammy-nominated hitmaker Ty Dolla $ign, whose catalogue spans R&B, hip-hop and some of the biggest collaborations in contemporary music.

The announcement follows WAV Fest’s promise that “a WAV this big needed even bigger headliners” and suggests there’s more to come for the 2027 lineup.

Early Bird tickets are now on sale, with General Admission tickets starting at R749.
