Icelandic rock band KALEO are heading to South Africa for the first time ever, bringing their Way Down We Go Tour to Cape Town and Johannesburg in February 2027.

Known for their blues-inspired rock sound and powerful live performances, the band will make their South African debut with two outdoor concerts. Cape Town gets the first show on 4 February at Kirstenbosch, followed by Johannesburg on 6 February at Marks Park.
If you know KALEO from their hit Way Down We Go, chances are you have heard that unmistakable blend of gritty vocals, bluesy guitar riffs and slow-burning rock. The track became a global hit, introducing the band to audiences far beyond their home country. Other fan favourites include No Good, All the Pretty Girls and Broken Bones.
The South African shows form part of the band's wider touring plans, giving local fans their first opportunity to experience the group live without having to leave the country.
Johannesburg concertgoers will also get performances from KONGOS and Ross Learmonth, with more artists still to be announced. The additional acts bring a distinctly South African flavour to what is shaping up to be a big night for live music.
The announcement comes as KALEO celebrate the 10th anniversary of their debut album, A/B, with the A/B Deluxe Edition also out now.
Tickets for both shows are on sale. If KALEO has been on your wishlist, this is one to keep on your radar.
